# Grand Theft Alignment

A while ago Tejas Bhakta told me an interesting fact: If you theoretically wanted to steal the weights of a frontier model, it could be done.

You would need to find the GPUs that it is running on, freeze such GPU to such a temperature that the data and bits are frozen on the processor, then use nano technology to extract the bits and thus extract the model weights.

Jokes aside, when a set of weights becomes so valuable, and is limited to a few select individuals, I can see how security of hardware will become a top national security priority.

In all fun and well, I had codex build this game, which I was shocked (jaw dropped) that it built the following game in just 1 prompt. Claude tried to build it as well, but it refused halfway through due to ethical reasons.

I call it Grand Theft Alignment.
